iOS 7 update issues arise

Apple has apparently had to scramble to address certain issues that are affecting a large number of users who have attempted to upgrade their iPhone to run the new iOS 7 platform.
Plenty of people used social networking sites like Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the software update, which in many cases, has failed to complete its installation.
AppleInsider reports that an internal memo sent to relevant employees within the Californian firm is aimed to help get the trouble-shooting train on the move, so that a solution can be found.
Sources suggest that a number of additional issues are also being reported, or have been found by Apple engineers, following the international roll-out of the software.
The main fault comes down to Apple's authentication servers, rather than individual handsets, as many people are attempting to confirm the authenticity of their iOS 7 installation at the same time and many are unable to get through to the servers in question, thus generating an error message.
At the moment, it is difficult to gauge just how many people have been encountering iOS 7 update issues, although the amount of coverage it has received, suggests that it could be fairly widespread.
Some insiders are recommending that people who have yet to download and install iOS 7 might be better off waiting for a few more days, so that Apple can get to work on the problems, rather than diving in and finding that the installation fails.
The rollout of iOS 7 comes in the wake of the launch of the iPhone 5C and 5S, both of which come with it preinstalled. So it might be worth selling your old iPhone and upgrading to one of Apple's newer models, rather than messing around with over the air updates.
