Wireless charging rumoured for Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Galaxy Note 3 may only have been around for a few weeks, but attentions are already focused on the future, as the first details about the Galaxy Note 4 have been rumoured.
ET News reports that the Galaxy Note 4 will apparently come equipped with next-gen wireless charging, that allows it to pick up juice even if it is a significant distance from the charging surface.
The extent of that distance remains a mystery, but it will effectively supersede current wireless charging technologies, which still require that the handset in question is physically touching the charging pad.
The Galaxy Note 4 is likely to launch next September, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, by which point, Samsung is expected to have perfected this new version of wireless charging.
The downside to this assertion is that the Galaxy S5, Samsung's next flagship device, will probably launch too early in 2014 to receive similar capabilities.
Another report, this time from Unwired View, has alleged this week that the Galaxy S5 will not be equipped with a 64bit Exynos processor, as had previously been rumoured.
While the S5 may end up with some form of 64bit architecture, it may not benefit from the 14 nanometre construction of the refreshed Exynos CPU.
The negligible gains in performance that are made year on year in the smartphone market amount to something significant over time, but it is unlikely that consumers will mind much if the Galaxy S5 is not quite cutting edge on launch.
In fact, people in the UK are already making do with a quad core Galaxy S4, while some international buyers enjoy the octo-core alternative, so it is clear that the popularity of the handset is hardly affected as a result of this.
