Rumours of Nexus 3 smartphone floated

Information relating to the third Google brand Android smartphone, tentatively referred to as the Nexus 3, has emerged online, giving fans of the platform something to consider for their next upgrade.
According to details acquired by BGR, the Nexus 3 will have a dual core processor and a very large display, presumably eclipsing the four inch Super AMOLED screen of the Nexus S.
At the moment it is unknown whether the Nexus S will have a 1.5GHz processor or a 1.2GHz dual core chip similar to those found in the Samsung Galaxy S2 or the HTC Sensation.
The resolution of the large display is set to be capable of displaying native 720p HD content, while its powerful hardware will allow the five megapixel primary camera to capture 1080p footage, just like its closest rivals.
Apparently Google is ditching all physical buttons previously assigned to navigation in favour of a software-only interface, which means the next-gen edition of Android that it is running will move on from what has previously been possible with version 2.3 and its predecessors.
Little is known about Android 4.0, currently nicknamed Ice Cream Sandwich and it has even been suggested that the handset discussed in recent rumours will not even make it out under the Nexus branding, but there should definitely be enough information to excite those who are committed to the search giant's mobile operating system.
US consumers will be the first to receive this next gen smartphone, with a speculative release window of November 2011 pinned to the handset. With no mention of an associated manufacturer and no details as to whether it will make it to the UK in its current form, there is not a lot to go on, but with mouth-watering hardware and cutting edge software promised, the wait begins now.
