Nokia X7 makes second appearance ahead of official announcement

The Nokia X7 smartphone has resurfaced online in a leaked preview, which reveals a little more about this multimedia powerhouse.
The leak emerged from Twitter users and frequent mobile-based exclusive-nabber Eldar Murtazin. This time he managed to snap some high quality pictures of the Nokia X7, showing its front and rear, along with a clearly visible logo for US network provider AT&T, which suggests that it is the real deal.
Mr Murtazin was responsible for publishing a particularly early preview of the Nokia N8 well before it launched, in which he was critical of the handset. He applied the same critical eye to the X7, but it is impossible to ignore the fact that this upcoming handset is very attractive, more so even than the N8.
The front of the phone features a large touchscreen display and the unusual angles of its frame allow it to stand out from the crowd of generic monolithic rivals. On the rear an eight megapixel camera with dual LED flash is visible and it is no stretch to assume that 720p video capture will be a feature of the X7.
What made recent reports about the X7 so interesting was the fact that it has four speakers, which is more than most other mobiles boast. This arguably suggests that it is the natural successor to the multimedia-focused Nokia X6, but according to an anonymous source quoted by Engadget, only two of the speakers actually work on early test handsets.
When the Nokia X7 arrives it will join the N8 and C7 in being a smartphone based on the Symbian 3 operating system. Until Nokia makes an official announcement it is only possible to speculate based on these leaks, but from the complete nature of the most recent images it looks like the X7 is close to completion.
