Nexus Prime smartphone developed by Samsung

Google is allegedly going to launch a new smartphone named the Nexus Prime, turning once more to Samsung to provide the hardware for this cutting edge Android mobile.
The Nexus S was the second Google-branded mobile and the first to be manufactured by Samsung, with the components being based loosely on its own Galaxy S device.
The Nexus Prime is thought to be inbound with a large Super AMOLED display capable of pumping out HD visuals, according to BGR.
Arguably the most important titbit revealed about the Nexus Prime is the fact that it will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which might be version 4.0 of the mobile operating system.
The Nexus Prime will apparently be launched in unison with a number of other cutting edge Android smartphones, with Google allowing each of its manufacturing partners to create exclusive hardware to run its latest software.
Although the launch date for the Nexus Prime has not been confirmed, it seems likely that it will emerge from the shadows at some point in August or September. This will give the Apple iPhone 5, which is also rumoured to be destined for a September launch, something of a run for its money.
A dual core processor and NFC technology are likely to be onboard the Nexus Prime, while an array of new functionality will be coming with Android 4.0, giving users many more compelling reasons to opt for Google's platform over Apple's established iOS.
While the summer months are often the best time to pick up a brand new mobile phone, it looks like the early autumn will be the key period in 2011, with all manufacturers suffering from supply issues following the disasters in Japan, which halted the production of key components earlier in the year.
