New HTC flagship smartphone rumoured

People who have purchased the powerful HTC One X in the few short months since its launch may only just be getting used to their shiny new handset.
However, HTC seems intent on making sure that its flagship device does not get stale because it is allegedly hard at work on a replacement for the One X, tentatively titled the Endeavour C2.
The One X and the Endeavour C2 will reportedly feature the same aluminium chassis as one another, which means that the replacement device will presumably use the same 4.7 inch high definition touchscreen display at the front.
While the phones are likely to have various technical and aesthetic similarities, the biggest change being made is that the Endeavour C2's processor will be clocked at 1.7GHz, giving it a 200MHz advantage over the One X.
While the type of quad core chip that HTC will be using remains to be seen, it is likely that the manufacturer will stick with the Nvidia Tegra 3, since this has proven to be a good match for the One X and can be pushed further in terms of its performance.
Whether or not the extra oomph will make much of a difference is another matter entirely, although Stuff reports that the Endeavour C2 will actually be more efficient than its processor, giving you longer battery life as a result.
Another noteworthy addition to the Endeavour C2 is the inclusion of Beats Audio headphones in the standard bundle. These will be a cut above the usual cheap headphones packaged with most smartphones and will help to differentiate this model from the One X in at least one other way.
The HTC Endeavour C2 could be on shelves in the UK by the start of October, which means you might want to sell your One X soon, if you want to upgrade shortly.
