Leaked images showcase first of Nokia's Windows Phone 8 mobiles

It seems likely that the first smartphone from Finnish manufacturer Nokia to feature the upcoming Windows Phone 8 handset, will have a 4.3 inch display and a far less angular design than the current Lumia range.
This is based on leaked images published by WPCentral, which seem to show the front plate from an as yet unseen Nokia smartphone that sources suggest will be one of the first devices to feature Microsoft's new operating system.
One theory is that the 4.3 inch phone will not actually be a range topping model but will, in fact, represent Nokia's new affordable offering, because it seems to be of a similar design to the current Lumia 710, while not coming that close to resembling premium models like the Lumia 900.
This could mean that there are even larger Windows Phone 8 handsets currently going through development at Nokia, which is a concept that will certainly excite fans of Microsoft's previous operating systems, who were envious of the big screen action currently found on Android devices.
Windows Phone 8 will be compatible with high resolution displays and multi-core processors, so these first Nokia phones should be a significant leap up from the current Lumia models, at least in technical terms.
It is thought that Nokia will reveal some of these devices officially during a press conference early next month, although whether or not this 4.3 inch phone is going to be featured remains a mystery.
Hopefully, Nokia will continue to use the tough yet stylish polycarbon frames for its high end Windows Phone handsets once the new version arrives, because this has been one of the more impressive assets of the current Lumia range. If it does opt for a more curved design, then the bigger models could just look like knock offs of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
