HTC launches One X+ smartphone

The HTC One X launched earlier this year and was this Taiwanese manufacturer's flagship handset for several months, attempting to do battle with the Samsung Galaxy S3 at the top of the Android tree.
Now the One X+ has been revealed, suggesting that HTC feels the time is right to revise the range and give consumers a brand new reason to give it a go.
The One X+ uses the same Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, as its predecessor, but this time you get a clock speed of 1.7GHz, as opposed to the 1.5GHz found on the original.
This sounds like a small change, but could make all the difference when it comes to the smoothness of the interface and the user experience offered in applications.
You also get 64GB of onboard storage this time around, although like the iPhone range, there is no option to expand this further via microSD memory card.
HTC has bolstered the battery size up to 2100mAh, which should keep the phone juiced up for longer than ever. In addition, there is a new 1.6 megapixel secondary camera on the front, designed to enhance video call and capture quality.
The 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 display found on the front of the One X+ is identical to that of the device which it replaces, but its HD resolution should make it just as much of a success.
HTC could be selling the One X+ in the UK for as little as 480, according to leaked information from network provider, O2.
At this price point and on affordable pay monthly deals, it could be one of the most powerful and affordable smartphones around.
If you picked up the original One X earlier in the year and you want to upgrade then you might consider selling your old mobile phone to get the best possible price online.
